The Marathonfoto waiting game…
Okay, you decide you want to run, you pick a race (say the BUPA London 10K), you pick a charity (say Diabetes UK) and you start to train.
You have not trained before and slowly build up strength, stamina and endurance until you know you can do this. You believe in yourself.
The day of the event you are excited. There are crowds of people cheering you on, thousands of fellow runners, this is the proverbial it.
You bust a gut, push yourself to your limit and win through, making it all worthwhile.
And then comes an email… BUY photos of your race just £57 per photo. This seems a lot, you run your eyes over the email, check the figures and it is right, £57!
You delete the email in disgust.
A week later more of the same. BUY photos of your race just £57.

Now today is the 6th August, this race was the 27th May. I wonder how long this could have gone on for? Actually I will find out as am going through the exact same thing with them for the British 10K in July where there are NO photos of me in their database but they are still pressing for me to buy a DVD of the 10 seconds at the finish when I run through. Guess how much?
